Community Organics Recycling in Crystal River or CORi Crystal River is community based! We divert waste with our compost assistance Pilot Project set to begin service January 2025. Our mission is to facilitate the growth of community organic waste diversion by working to establish waste diversion infrastructure in the state of Florida. Currently all our waste is recycled via "On Farm" composting [CORi is not  currently associated with any waste management municipalities or compost facilities].  We aim to educate and empower our community. We also teach workshops on salvaging and re-purposing. We accept local gardener and farmers as volunteer Community Composters and Composting sites. These sites are limited to "On-Farm" Composting.

Uncle Chipper's is C.O.R.I.'s first community waste diversion site.
